Jurisdiction and Governing Law
  • This agreement is governed by Tanzanian law.
Reservations and Payment
  • Bookings necessitate written affirmation.
  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is demanded at booking
  • Balance payable 45 days pre-departure.
  • Bookings within 45 days of departure require full payment.
  • Payment non-compliance may lead to booking annulment.
Cancellation and Refund Protocols
  • Cancellation 120-60 days prior leads to deposit forfeiture.
  • Cancellation 60-45 days prior incurs 50% of the tour cost.
  • Cancellation under 45 days entails a 100% fee.
  • Travel insurance covering cancellation risks is strongly advised.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer Provisions
  • Liability for website inaccuracies or omissions is disclaimed, along with indirect or consequential damages arising from our services.
Conditions for Contractual Termination
  • Either party may terminate this agreement under predefined conditions in line with Tanzanian legal stipulations.
Transportation:
  • The provision of transport services will be governed by the terms and conditions set forth by the respective carriers and applicable international conventions, notably the Warsaw Convention, which specifically relates to air travel.
Tour Operator’s Rights and Responsibilities:
  • Safari Gateway Limited reserves the right to alter or cancel itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters or political unrest.
  • Clients will be informed of significant changes and offered alternative arrangements, such as a different tour date or destination.
Client Conduct and Compliance Obligations
  • Clients must act responsibly, conforming to all local legal and cultural norms. Unlawful or disruptive behaviours are strictly prohibited.
Responsibilities and Obligations of Clients.
  • Please ensure all your travel documentation, including passports and visas, is up-to-date and accurate. This is crucial for a hassle-free journey.
  • During your travels, respecting and adhering to the local regulations and cultural norms (e.g., dressing modestly in conservative areas) is important. This not only enriches your travel experience but also helps in fostering mutual respect with the local communities. Moreover, clients are responsible for damages or losses they cause (like hotel property damage).
  • If you have any health conditions or special requirements, please inform us. This allows us to make the necessary arrangements and provide you with the best support throughout your trip.
Risk Management and Insurance Advisory.
  • Obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, evacuation, and cancellation expenses. This is a must for your protection.

  • Personal belongings are the client’s responsibility. For instance, Safari Gateway Limited does not cover the loss of unattended bags at a hotel.
  • Strict baggage limits apply, especially on light aircraft transfers.
Access Issues:
  • Safari Gateway Limited is not responsible for access issues, like impassable roads after heavy rains.
Pricing, Itinerary, and Service Adjustment Policies.
  • Prices and itineraries are subject to change due to external factors such as currency fluctuations and changes in local taxes and Park fees.
  • Additional charges may apply for changes the client requests, such as altering the tour route or changing accommodation.
Provisions for Force Majeure and Unpredictable Alterations
  • We hold no liability for delays or alterations stemming from uncontrollable factors or events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or political instability.
  • In such events, we reserve the right to adjust or cancel bookings.
